■not so much as～： ～さえしない

① The boy  　can not so much as 　 write his own name.
　　　その少年は　  　　　　    ～さえできない　 　　　　　　             自分の名前を書く

 

■none the less for～： ～にもかかわらず

② I love her  　none the less for her fault.
　　　私は彼女が好きだ　　 彼女に欠点があるにもかかわらず
